Martin Campbell


Martin began his career in the energy industry in 1980, taking a job with Beretta pipeline and quickly moving to supervisor in 1983. In this capacity he managed the construction of upstream pipelines, natural gas compression facilities such as wellsite dehydration facilities up 4500 hp turbine compression stations. His employment continued 19993 when the company was sold to a new management team and martin chose to venture out into a new field.



In 1993 horizontal directional boring was a new industry and Martin began a new company (MC Campbell Directional Boring Ltd.) with the intention of servicing the upstream pipeline industry performing crossings of rivers, creeks, major highways, and any other obstacles within the right of way. The company was very successful and grew proportionately as the HDD industry gained acceptance within the industry. The company was also very involved with the installation of new fiberoptic systems being built with western Canada. In 2008 the company was sold to a Saskatchewan business group and martin chose to move on to a new venture.


In 2010 Martin entered into a partnership group with the goal to utilize HDD equipment to develop a competitive trenchless pipeline system for the installation of small diameter pipelines with minimal environmental disturbance versus the conventional open cut pipeline methods that were currently in use. The trenchless pipeline system quickly gained acceptance within the upstream production industry and now has become a preferred construction method for many producers. In 2022 martin chose to step away and tender his shares to Bandit Energy group.

Away from work Martin enjoys family time with his wife Colleen of 35 years, his four daughters and six grandsons.


Martin is excited to begin his new role with Bandit Energy and promote the renewable energy aspect of the business and make it as successful as his previous ventures.
