Blaine Biography

Blaine Holmes

Blaine Holmes is Vice President of Health, Safety & Environment of Bandit Energy Services.

Blaine started in pipeline construction immediately upon graduating high school in 1995. Coming from a family of “pipeliners” it seemed the natural career path. He started as a labourer at Beretta Pipeline and worked his way up to Equipment Operator, then to Foreman and then to a Supervisor within 8 years.

Blaine joined Bandit Energy Services as a Supervisor in January 2006 and continued in this role until May of 2012. Management transitioned Blaine into the Health, Safety & Environment Team as a Safety Co-ordinator.

In 2017, the former VP or HS&E was due for retirement and Blaine had more than proven his ability to lead the Bandit Energy Services team. He seamlessly moved into the role of Bandit’s Vice President of HS&E. Since that time he has demonstrated excellence and diligence in his leadership using his hands on experience and relatable demeanour to actually make our workspaces safer for all stakeholders. This is why we can confidently state that our HS&E program is second to none.

Blaine is a National Construction Safety Officer with training in Det Norske Veritas (DNV), Incident Prevention and Investigation using Systematic Cause Analysis Techniques. Blaine has also been a safety instructor for courses such as Powered Mobile Equipment Evaluator and a franchise instructor for Global Ground Disturbance.
